Residential Support Worker
Accessible Development Services is committed to supporting individuals with disabilities in order to strengthen their positive relationships in their community.
ADS is currently hiring casual Residential Support Worker. The successful candidate must be available on weekends. Typical hours would be 09:00 to 15:00 hours.
To be successful in this position you should:
- Have your own transportation
- Support individuals at home and in the community
- Assist individuals with development of their social skills and relationships
- Implement support plans while responding to behaviors of concern
- Provide personal care support such as personal grooming, dressing and or bathing if required
Hours:
Typical hours would be 09:00 to 15:00 hours Monday to Friday. More hours may be available
Experience:
Minimum of one year experience providing support to disadvantage citizens preferred. Education may be considered towards experience
Other requirements:
- A Police Information and Vulnerable Sector Check less then 6 month old
- Valid Drives License
- Valid First Aid certificate or willingness to acquire within 2 weeks of employment offer
